circle of red at harmony farm

Harmony Farm was pleased to host The American Heart Association’s Circle of Red group on Sunday, January 24th, 2010. Members of this group provide a personal commitment to help find a cure for the number one killer of women, heart disease. Funds are used for research grants, educational programs and to increase awareness of women and heart disease.
Participants experienced a “taste” of services including an Alexander Technique demonstration by Karen DeHart, Tai Chi by Rick Beck and 30 minute massages. Special thanks to all the practitioners who donated their time: Lori Angel, Ronda Bennet, Vicki Reynolds, Megan Rue, Danielle Ware, Wendy Wilson, Laurie Davis and of course Karen and Rick. Heart healthy food was provided by Coldwater Café (www.coldwater-cafe.com).
This was a wonderful opportunity for Circle of Red members to conduct their meeting amidst the beauty of the farm and explore some of the healing arts. Harmony Farm celebrates the commitment and dedication of this group to such a worthy cause.
